ZERO TO ONE is a SCG internal startup program which invites SCG employees with strong passion to turn their ideas into reality through a three-stage internal startup program "HATCH WALK FLY."
ZERO TO ONE generate series of businesses potential for new S-curve, by leverage SCG’s muscles.
We provide funding, proven process, mentoring, tech, business networks, co-working environment, as well as many other supports to help founders speed up their exploration.
About this position
EIR is a new exciting role of the Zero to One startup studio by SCG. A startup studio that help provides funding, mentoring, tech team support and resources required to help early-stage startups turn ideas.
The EIR will be responsible for the market validation of selective growth stage startups using the lean startup to validate the product’s market fit in order to help scale these startups into new potential markets in Asia.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify localization elements, business model and potential market size of potential startups in order to scale in new market
- Build team, lead and scale new startup in the country. Prepare business and growth plans and be responsible for its execution, business results, and performance target
- Collaborate with CVC and BU team to understand the business portfolio and be able to plan, manage and deliver project under limited resources and time constraint
- Develop critical hypothesis for customers, solutions and market validation for scaling startups in new market
- Identify and collaborate on strategic suppliers, customers partnerships within the industry, and lead the team to capture key opportunities in the market
- Build a high-calibre team, internally and externally, through coaching and training of teammates.
A successful result of market validation project will lead to an ideal opportunities to become a country head of newly established venture between SCG and growth stage startups
Minimum Requirement
- 6+ years of full-time experience in Management Consulting, Marketing, Business Development.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and passion to work within a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity. Bias towards action. Capacity to engage & inspire.
- Proven ability to drive high performance in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global tech environment
- Strategic thinking and comfort in managing multiple business partners and stakeholders including senior leadership
- Compelling cross-cultural leadership and advanced negotiation skills
- Excellence project management with ability to combine big picture thinking with detail orientation.
Great to have
- Experience in digital marketing, B2B or B2C market platform, social commerce and related digital tech industries
- Track record in entrepreneurial journey - that have worked on startup or done small business on their own or have embark on various entrepreneurial experiences by hosting, initiating or developing projects within their current or previous companies
